Charles Richard McCloskey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Richard McCloskey (Smiths Falls, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95 (7 Main St E, Smiths Falls, ON K7A1A1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie's memory may be made to Community Home Support Lanark County, whose volunteers supported him with care and connection. Donations can be made online, or by calling 613 267 6400 ext. 22.
