Deborah Eleanor Bessette Obituary

We announce the death of Deborah Eleanor Bessette (Smiths Falls, Ontario), who passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 72. Deborah will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Jaques and Lorna Jaques; her sister Sandra; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald, Bernard, Andrew, Gerald, Richard, Roger, Denis, Gilbert and Monique.

She is survived by: her husband Edmond Bessette; her children, Anthony (Corrie) and Angela; her grandchildren, Zachary and Hayley; her siblings, Lloyd (Valerie) and Sharon (late Dale); and her brothers-in-law, Rod and Mike (Judy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephew, extended family.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
