We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2019, at the age of 97, Dorothy Covell (Smiths Falls, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Covell; her daughter Claudette Haughian (late Leo); her parents, Harry Mundy and Edith Mundy; and her siblings, Elsie Thurston, Charlotte Harper, Edith Cole, Victor, Edward, Harry, Albert, Ernie, David and George.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Covell (Sharron), Carolyn Lacey (Jim) and Gerald Covell (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Deanne Strong (Andrew), Leon Haughian (Kathryn), Jason Haughian (Becky), Jeff Covell (Danielle Henderson), Tannia Cooke (Brad), Carla Clarke (Peter), Gilbertson, Jackie Warrington (Todd) and Angela Rogers (Chris); her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Sarah, Alexander, Patrick, Adam, Owen, Julia, Curtis, Turner, Cameron, Lauren, Avery, Reese, Sam, Alice and Anthony; and her sister Myrtle Lamb. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and many friends.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis de Sales/Blessed Sacrament Church Building Fund, Heart & Stroke or the Canadian Cancer Society.
