Dorothy Elizabeth Harper Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Elizabeth Harper (Smiths Falls, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bert; her parents, Harmon Stanzel and Mary Stanzel; her siblings, Bob, Richie Stanzel and Jean Wright; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Coyle, Bonnie Harper, Nora Harper, Bob, Keith, Ken, Ray Harper and Denis Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Harper (Christine), Debbie Sabourin (Roger) and Tracey Harper; her grandchildren, Megan, Emily Harper (Justin Kahn), Alisha, Matthew (Marty Cryderman) and Taylor Sabourin; her brother Don Stanzel (Phyllis); and her siblings-in-law, Ann Stanzel (Francis Harper) and Alfred Coyle. She is also survived by nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lannin Funeral Home (32 Main St E, Smiths Falls, ON K7A1A2). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Church (41 Market St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2E7). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (3540 ON-43, Smiths Falls, ON K7A4S4). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Trinity United Church (41 Market St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2E7).
