He was predeceased by : his parents, Otto and Roelina; his former life partner Augusta; his siblings, Roelina, Willem and Anne-Marie (Bronkhorst); his daughters, Roelina Caserta and Regina Brennan; his stepdaughter Patricia Buchanan; his stepgrandson John LeFaivre; and his nephews, Chris Bellem and Willem Bronkhorst.
He is survived by : his wife Marjie; his daughters, Carmen Shultz (Dale Hartwig) and Astrid Bellem; his grandchildren, Carrie, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Gary, Kelly and Daryl; his stepgrandchildren, Alex, Emily, Mike, Marc, Robert and Richard; and his nieces, Mariette (Willem), Hansje (Dirk), Lies (Hugo) and Joyce.
