She was predeceased by : her spouse Merrill Hanna; her parents, Merton Buchanan and Mary Buchanan; and her siblings, Glenn Buchanan (Mary), Vina Kirkham (Dave), Ethel Valliquette-Larmour (Tony), Donald Buchanan and Cecil Buchanan (Barbara).

She is survived by : her great grandchild Malcolm Hanna; her sister Joyce Valliquette (late Ozzie); and her sister-in-law Bev Rice (late Archie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
