She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Pegg and Myrtle Pegg (Lawson); her children, Kevin (Angelina) and Margaret; and her siblings, Douglas Pegg (Julia) and Lois Evans.
She is survived by: her husband Harris Gibson; her son Myles (Anna); her grandchildren, Emily, Luke, Maurita and Kent; her son Marshall; her granddaughter Adeline; her daughter Lisa (Jacob); her grandchild Ivy; her daughter Sarah (Jesse); her grandchildren, Wyatt and Katie; her son Howard (Michele); her grandson Nathan (Greg); her daughter Alexa (Patrick); her granddaughters, Sybil and Cora; her daughter Maxine (Devin); her grandchildren, Kennedy and Camren; and her in-laws, Frank Hayhoe (late Winnifred), Lois Beach (Ken), Marjorie Healey (Don) and Murray Gibson (June). She is also survived by nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2). A reception was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Lombardy Union Cemetery (52 Blacksmith Rd, Lombardy, ON K0G1L0).
