With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Edmund Patrick Willis (Smiths Falls, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Willis and Edith Willis (Nell); and his siblings, Barrie Willis (Joan) and Diane Chadbourne (Peter). He is survived by: his wife Lily Willis; his children, Kathy O'Shea (Murray) and Dan Willis (Virginia); his grandchildren, Heather (Arthur), Shauna (Terry), Brendan (Sara), Michael (Courtney), Jessica (Gordon), Steven (Natalie), Laura, Shawn and Adam (Issy); his great grandchildren, Mattaes, Matilda, Eleanor, Piper, Grayson, Aspen, Clayton, Cheyenne, Melody and Granger; and his great great grandchild Caspian. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family has chosen to send donations to CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIÉTÉ CANADIENNE DU CANCER.
