It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Rathwell (Smiths Falls, Ontario), born in Perth, Ontario, who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna and Jim; and his brother-in-law Paul McNamee. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Jim Rathwell (Barb Reade) and Judy McKinnon (Michael); his grandchildren, Massey, Mekalah Leach-Rathwell, Drew and Owen McKinnon; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Berry (Ted Clancey), Jane Leach (Eldon), Alice Kellar (Glenn), Wayne McNamee (Sylvia) and Ken McNamee (Nancy). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
