Gerda Hearty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerda Hearty (Smiths Falls, Ontario), who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Freda Evoy (Tanner) and James Albert Tanner; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon McDougall and Durrell 'Butch' Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Kerrie and Krista (Michael McLean); her grandchildren, Ashton Kerr, Ireland Hearty Kerr and Emery McLean; her brother Roy Tanner (Mavis) of Carleton Place; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Smith, Donna Keon (Stan), Odel Hearty, Graeme 'Sandy' McDougall, Jerry Hearty and Gary Hearty (Theresa). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and a large group of very close friends.
