With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Lillian Richardson (Smiths Falls, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2026 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her husband John Richardson (Jack); her parents, Thelma Splane and Harold Splane; her siblings, David Splane and Louise Burke; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Burke (Bob) and Yvonne Splane.
She is survived by: her brother Orrin Splane; her sister-in-law Mary Splane; her nieces, Jeanette (George Secord), Heather (Garry MacDonald), Cynthia (Harold Lowe) and Brenda (late Gregory Maloney); and her grandchildren, Jaymie, Erika (Randy), Shaun (Stephanie), Rachel, Donna (René), Bradley (Daria), Angela (Daniel), Brittney, Jessica (Joe), Cody (Baili) and Joshua (Laura). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
