It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacqueline Atkin (Smiths Falls, Ontario), who passed away on August 11, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Atkin; her children, Susan McGinn (John) of Texas, Jennifer Vinkler (Randy) of North Carolina and Michael Atkin of Trenton; her grandchildren, Colin, Sarah, Brett, Rachel, Meagan and Aly; her siblings, Diane Gagnon of Edmonton and John DuBois; her siblings-in-law, Diane DuBois of Wales, Monica and Eric Hill of Yorkshire, UK.; her close friend Claire Miller; and her parents, John Paul and Simone DuBois (Ledoux). She was also cherished by animals, especially cats and dogs.
In memoriam donations to the Under My Wing Pug Rescue of Ottawa, Ontario or to L.A.W.S. (Lanark Animal Welfare Society) would be appreciated by the family.
