Joan (Bennett) Dixon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan (Bennett) Dixon (Smiths Falls, Ontario), who passed away on May 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her significant other Duane Dixon. She is survived by: her children, Dawn (Brian Roach) and Dale (Sue Neilson); her grandchildren, Michaela Roach and Helena Dixon; her close friend Robert Allan; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Dixon and Marion Pollard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Duane Dixon Family Trust (The trust fund is for students graduating from high school and pursuing post-secondary education).
