He was predeceased by : his parents, Newman Edwards and Essie Edwards; and his siblings, Edith Cole (Kenneth), Albert Edwards (Marion), Shirley Drew (Wilson), Charles Edwards (Kathleen), Katherine Hover (Vernon), Robert Edwards (Carole), Wayne Edwards and James Edwards (Clara).

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Edwards; his children, David (Kathy), Paul (Lori), Deborah Evans (William), Darren (Lisa), Penny-Lynn Botham (Scott) and Joseph (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Kyle (Jenna), Michelle (Alex), Scott, Robert, Thomas (Danielle), Danielle, Katelyn, Logan, Quinn, Lillian, Sienna and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Maeve, Charlotte, Wyatt and Blake; his siblings, Vivian Lackey (Sam), Linda Bennett (late Wayne), Harold Edwards (Donna) and Daniel Edwards (Maureen); his siblings-in-law, Loretta Payette (Clifford), Alma McLean (James), John Looby (Kathy), Donald Looby (Wendy) and Linda Maloney (Walter); and his brother Lumber. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
