He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Douwes; his daughters, Jennifer Douwes (Ryan Carroll) and Jessica Douwes (Mark Matthews); his grandchildren, Hayley, Avery, Zoe and Owen; his mother Frances Vandersluis (late George); his siblings, Janet Crawford (late Andy), Charles "Chuck" Douwes and Ronald Douwes (Barbara); his siblings-in-law, Karen Lomas (Tom), Barry Porter (Dianne), Peggy Gravel (Andre) and Trudy Kniss (Gary); and his mother-in-law Vivian Wray (late Austin Porter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many good friends.
