She was predeceased by: her parents, Bartholomew Hughes and Catherine Hughes (Coughlin); and her siblings, Kathleen Hughes, Elizabeth Warmington (Betty), Muriel Baker and Joseph.
She is survived by: her husband William G.'Bill'Evoy; and her children, Lee and Lisa Stewart (Ron). She is also survived by her extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Church (17 Elmsley St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2G6). A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery (17 Elmsley St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2G6). A reception will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2).
