She was predeceased by : her parents, Bert Thompson and Ida Thompson; her brother Don Thompson (Betty); and her siblings-in-law, Doug Van Meer (late Edna) and Jean Taylor (late Bill).
She is survived by : her husband Ronald Van Meer; her daughters, Lisa (Paul) and Janet Yanosik (Brian); her grandsons, Justin and Patrick; and her sisters, Theresa Upper (late Paul) and Carol Chouinard (John). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Trinity United Church, or the Canadian Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.
