He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lori; his sons, Nolan and Chris; his siblings, David and Dawn Asselstine (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Nathanial (Candice) and Melissa; his sister-in-law Lisa (late Matthew); his nephews, Sam and Luke; his parents-in-law, Jim and Tina McGilligan; his sibling-in-law Debbi McGilligan; his daughters, Amanda, Karissa and Nodyia; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Trinnitie, Aiva and Lincoln; his daughter Kari; his parents, Les and Doris (Chaplin); and his brother Matthew. He was also cherished by cousins and extended family and numerous friends.
