He is survived by: his spouse Norma Thomas (McKinnon); his children, Paul Thomas (Jaynee), Debbie Adams (Perry) and Dean Thomas (Linda); his grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Adam Thomas, Kiley Binkley (Ryan), Brooke Cunningham (Nick) and Jacob Thomas; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Serenity Thomas, Chase, Mya Binkley, Austin Thomas, Addison and Raya Cunningham; his siblings, Mae MacDonald, Bill Thomas, Ray, Russell, Leonard Thomas, Greta Johnston, Lila Parks and Winnie Massey; and his siblings-in-law, Judy DePietro, Glenna Dunham, Liz McKinnon, Mary McKinnon, Gladys Thomas, Vern McKinnon, Gordon McKinnon and Hilda Truelove.
