She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Hughes (Moore) and Elmer Hughes; her husband Johnnie Boles; and her siblings, Bob Hughes (late Mary) and Janice Chaplin (late Doug).

She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Fielding (Brian) and Darlene Preville; her brother Perry; her son Paul Boles (Lori); her grandchildren, Trisha, Michelle, Christopher, Erica (Shaun), Heidi (Mike) and Johnny (Cyndi); her great grandchildren, Jaxson and Emery; and her siblings, Helen Tryon (Bob) and Reg Hughes (Connie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and good friends.

In remembrance of Norma, memorial donations to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
