He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Ernest Linton and Ruth Caroline Linton; his sister Karen Keays; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Bjorgan, Catharine Manson, Elizabeth McGuire-Eggins, Larry Manson and Jay Hitchins; Patricia (Connolley) and Thomas McGuire.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lou Linton, Jeff Linton (Debbie), Bill Linton (Darlene) and Alvin Keays; his siblings-in-law, Fran Hitchins, Cecelia Kalbfleisch (John), Dale Bjorgan and Frank Eggins; his wife Teresa (McGuire); his daughters, Tricia Brydges (Mike), Tess Auger (Charles) and Francie Cameron (Ian); and his grandchildren, Emma, Abbey, Maddie, Sam, Simon, Jake, Claudia, Jonah and Mia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Church (17 Elmsley St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2G6). A burial was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery (17 Elmsley St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2G6).
