He is survived by: his wife Muriel; his children, Julie Anne Vanderven (Chris) and Brad Rhiness (Lisa); his grandchildren, Nathan, Jared, Hillary and Evan; and his brother Patrick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
