He was predeceased by: his daughter Angela Buker. He is survived by: his children, Rose Birch (Dan) and Alan Buker (Vicky); his siblings, Doug Buker, Joanne Ackerman (Tony) and Marie Shelland (Russell); and his son Smiths Falls.
