She was predeceased by: her spouse Morris William Ashby; her parents, Richard and Catherine (Lake); her siblings, Vietta Hawley, Jim Burke, Tom Burke, Russell Burke and Bob Burke; and her sister-in-law Helen Burke.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne (Kathie), Cathy Trotter (Dan) and Sharon Scanlon (Ken); her siblings, Barbara Renaud and Steve Burke (Edie); and her siblings-in-law, Reta Burke, Louise Burke, Ivan Ashby (Shirley Crosbie) and George Hawley.

Memorial donations to Balderson United Church or the Kidney Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
