He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Debra Marie and Harry Dunnigan; and also, Marjorie Marie and Ann Marie. He is survived by: his parents, Harry Burns and Elsie Burns (Kelford); his siblings, Audrey (Dale), Dorothy (late Donald), Alice, Ruth (late Lorne), Lorraine, Allan (late Sandra), Gordon (Norma), Howard (Shelley), Raymond (Anne) and David (Linda); his grandchildren, Jared (Rachel), Nicholas (Melissa), Alyssa (Justin), Brittany (Matt), Davey (Kara), Hannah, Zoë and Emily; his great grandchildren, Payton, Lauren, Parker, Whitley, Jack, Jessie and Sydney; and his siblings-in-law, Vernon Himmelman (late Iris), Robert Himmelman (Pat), Frederick Himmelman (Shirley), Sharron Robson (late Bill) and Oriole Jones (late Bob).

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Diabetes Association or the St. John's Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
