It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Nelson (Smithville, Ontario), born in Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on October 22, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her husband Lorne Nelson; her sister Kathy (John); and her children, Mike (Jennifer), Wendy (James), Craig (Allison), Marcia (Steve) and Dave (Doni). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (cancer.ca) in support of October's Breast Cancer Awareness would be appreciated by the family.
