He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lloyd Annett (late Norma), Marion Walls (late Carl), Velma Wilbur (Wayne) and Wayne Annett (Ruth Anne); his stepsiblings, Charles Lewis (Jan), Shirley Gray (Lawson) and Doreen Zorn (late Carl); and his parents, Harry Annett and Esther Annett (Charlie Lewis).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose Annett; his children, Sheldon Annett (Denise), Byron Annett (Judy) and Katherine Annett (Phil Andrew); and his grandchildren, Jordan Lane (Dan), Bailey Annett (Andrew Lowery), Chad Annett (Stephanie), Olivia Annett, Reid Annett (Riley), Ryan McFadden (Tayna), Rick McFadden (Carrie), Chris Annett (Allison) and Brandy Dedobbeleer (Ryan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
