He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosaire Racette and Solange Racette (Boulanger) of Val Gagne, ON.. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Laing; his stepchildren, John Laing, Cindy David (George), Alana Lortie, Pam Bergeron (Bob) and Bill Laing; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Michelle and Hailey; his siblings, Irene Racette of Kirkland Lake, Simone Morin (late Albert) of Timmins, Marie-Ange Tremblay (Adrien) of Timmins, Daniel Racette (Barb) of Englehart, Laura Racette of Timmins, Isidore Racette (Clauviette) of Elliott Lake, Emile Racette (Jose) of Edmonton, Raymond Racette (Murielle) of Lindsay and Gisele Racette of Timmins; and his godchildren, Julie Martineau of Bathurst, N. B. and Eric Racette of Ottawa, ON. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
