He was predeceased by: his son Jason; and his parents, Eino and Rauha. He is survived by: his wife Eleanore; his grandson Owen William Lehtimaki; his cousins, Linda (Maki) of Sudbury, Marlene (Hewitt) of Ottawa, Susan McGaghran (Pat) and Kenneth Lehtimaki of Porcupine; and his godsons, Jeff, Ryan and Mark Rantala.
In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations can be made to the Kulta-Koti Senior's Residence or the Timmins and District Humane Society.
