He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Matt Holopainen (Sue) and Tina Holopainen-Whitmore (Morley); his stepsons, Dale Weiler and Scott Tomiuk; his siblings, Andy Holopainen (Debbie Couture), Pat Holopainen and Carolyn Miller; his mother-in-law Lyla Dumas; his children, Kathy Chartrand (Cyril), Penny Garito (Frank), Don Tomiuk (Chantale), Carrie Backer and Glenn Tomiuk (Jay-Ann); his parents, Reino Holopainen and Helen Holopainen; his brother Randy Holopainen; Gizmo and Girly. He is also survived by his brother but his best friend.
