She was predeceased by: her brothers, Harry Ward (Grace), Johnnie Ward (Caroline), Ken Ward, Ron Ward, Victor Ward (Eva) and Terry Zavitz (Debra); her parents-in-law, Mary and Clifford Zavitz; and her parents, Henry Ward and Pearl Ward.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Zavitz; her children, Lee Zavitz (Jen), Nick Zavitz (Shantal) and Annette Zavitz (William); her grandchildren, Chad, Xander, Rogue, Gage, Skylah and Kasey; her siblings, Bruce Ward (Anne) and Ada Matthew (Larry); and her sisters-in-law, Linda Smith (late Richard), Mable Crocker Brian (Gordon), Rosemary Hayward (late Mark) and Christine Zavitz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
