He was predeceased by: his parents, John Markell and Edith Markell (Sally); and his siblings, Debbie Markell and Arlie Markell. He is survived by: his son Harvey Markell (Tina Aimer); his grandchildren, Andrew, Lucas, McKenna, Dawn and Reese; his daughter Tiffany Hall (Jason Hall); his grandchildren, Brianna, Devan, Kristen and Maranda; and his siblings, Brent, Karen, Trudy (Claude) and Sandra (Harry). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
