He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Shackelton (Hunter); his son Doug; his siblings, Carmen, Kenneth and Vera Parsons; and his great grandchild Owen.
He is survived by: his son John (Ronee); his daughter-in-law Deb; his children, Gwen Tracey (Bob) and Gary (Kim); and his grandchildren, Michael (Jenn), Jeffrey (Lesley), Jason (Angela), Cameron Jay (Stacey), Wendy, Tyler (Julie), Mark (Kelsey), Ashlan (Mark), Mallory (Joe), Caylee (Brad) and Whitney (Evan).
