It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alan Cooper (St. Catharines, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 85, on December 10, 2025. He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Margaret; his parents, Frank Cooper and Mary Cooper; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his children, Joanne Guthrie (Graeme) and Jonathan (Janet); his grandchildren, Matthew (Aley), Emma, Keefer, Chelsea and Cora; and his sister-in-law Elaine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1).
In memory of Alan, memorial contributions may be made to The Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation or The Niagara Health Foundation, and would be appreciated.
