It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amato Mongelluzzo (St. Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Amato may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Vincenzo; and his brother Louie. He is survived by: his daughter Cassandra; his mother Maria; his sister Teresa; his nephews, Alessandro and Anthony; and his close friend Janet. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (424 Niagara St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4W3). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
