She was predeceased by: her spouse Mamdouh Nakhla; her parents, Gamil Ragheb and Margaret El-Hawi; and her siblings, Nahed (Refaat), Hany, Dr. Salah (Safia) and Sameh.
She is survived by: her children, Mervat Wahba (Mahmoud Selim) and Ihab Wahba; her grandchildren, Sherif Selim (Carissa Miles), Anthony Nakhla and Dr. Shehab Selim (Alison Bell); her siblings, Mohga (Gad) and Dr. Bahaa (Soraya); and her sister-in-law Didi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
