With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Bruce Paxton (St. Catharines, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Andrew may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church (169 St Paul Crescent, St. Catharines, ON L2S1N4).
In honour of his memory, donations made to the PPCLI Hamilton Gault Memorial Fund or St. Mary of the Assumption Church would be appreciated by the family.
