He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Cooper; his daughter Betty; and his son-in-law Kevin. He is survived by: his daughter Peggy (Raymond); and his grandchildren, Arthur, Anthony (Stephanie), Alanna and Olivia (Dianne). He is also survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the John Cooper's Funeral Service. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
In honour of his memory, donations made to Therapy Tails, Heart Niagara, or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
