She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Etherington; and her brother Bob Scharer (Sue). She is survived by: her children, Deborah Moore (Kevin), Darlene Nelson (Gary), Drew Etherington (Krystle) and Deena Rowe; and her grandchildren, Jeramie (Carley), Janna (Will), Tyler (Samantha), Robbie, Layla, Travis and Oliver.

In honour of Barbara's memory, donations made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated by her family.
