He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Gale (Culp); his daughters, Kimberley Whittington (Matthew) and Deborah Howey (Brent); his grandchildren, Connor, Evan, Alex and Abbey; his siblings, Janet Hemphill, Diane Paonessa (Domenic), Susan Gale Wolbert, Kevin Gale and Kathy Arenburg (Gary); and his son Dr Garland.
