She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy Grodesky (Tim) and Deanna Absolonne (Jeremie); her grandchildren, Lindsey Taylor (Shayne), Michelle Absolonne and Nicole Absolonne; and her sister Joyce Watson. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.

In keeping with Carolyn's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
