He was predeceased by: his son Richard John. He is survived by: his wife Beerdje; his children, David and Pauline (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Elise (Tobin) and Elijah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pathway Bible Church (1136 Vansickle Rd N, St. Catharines, ON L2S2Z3). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
