The memory of Dennis Robert Gairns (St. Catharines, Ontario), born in Welland, Ontario, who passed away on July 6, 2024 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Judy Ewart; his parents, Robert Gairns and Alice Gairns (Jothen); and his brother Glen Gairns. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Ann (Shallip); his children, Greg and Kim Burton (James); his sisters, Nelda Walker (late Dave), Loretta Cyopick, Mavis Cloutier, Janice Torzsas (Larry), Alice Breeze (Larry) and Wendi Lindsey (Nelson); and his siblings-in-law, Teddy Shallip and Linda Hyatt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
