Donald Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2026, at the age of 85, Donald Smith (St. Catharines, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan; his children, Sherry Peters (Gary), Rob (Kutea), Rick (Cheryl), Sandra Vanderlee (Dave) and Jamie (Inara); his grandchildren, John-Henry, Evan, Michael, Danielle, Jordan (Meaghan), DJ, Abbie (Ethan) and Katya; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Daphne, Carter and Thomas; and his siblings, Terry and Jim. He was also cherished by his family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grantham Lions Club (732 Niagara St, St. Catharines, ON L2M1V7).

In memory of Don, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.
