She was predeceased by: her husband James "Conrad" Grimes; her parents, George Warkentin and Martha Warkentin; her former husband George Penner; and her siblings, Grace (Walter), Viola, Wilfred (Grace) and Johnny.
She is survived by: her children, Greg (Jon) of New York City, Chad (Shandra) of Winnipeg, Chris (Susan) of Winnipeg and Gretchen Martin of Maui; her grandchildren, Jaymi, Dalton, Myckaila and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Ryder and Rhayne; and her nieces and nephews, Joy, Pearl (Floyd), Tami (Andy), Bonnie (Paddy), Tim, Mark and Randy (Karla). She is also survived by the many friends who became part of her extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scott Street Church (339 Scott St, St. Catharines, ON L2N1J7). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
