He was predeceased by: his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Mekdes; his grandchildren, Lukas, Travis, Elena, Theo, Thiri, Ezra and Ethan; his sisters, Elleni, Hiwot (Tony) and Tutuye; his niece Sara; and his nephew Alessandro.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (424 Niagara St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4W3). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
