She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Hamilton; and her parents, Elijah Mercer and Wilhemina Mercer. She is survived by: her children, Gord Hamilton (Debbie), Linda Saylor (Kevin), Sue Vanatte (Jim) and Joanne Jabs (Ron); her grandchildren, Stephen, Tim (Nadine), Jon (Melissa), Mike (Hope), Rebecca (Adam), Jenn (Billy) and Will (Morgan); and her sister Martha (Ralph). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In memory of Esther, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre), and would be appreciated.
