We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 89, Esther Marie Hamilton (St. Catharines, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Esther Marie Hamilton to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Hamilton; and her parents, Elijah Mercer and Wilhemina Mercer. She is survived by: her children, Gord Hamilton (Debbie), Linda Saylor (Kevin), Sue Vanatte (Jim) and Joanne Jabs (Ron); her grandchildren, Stephen, Tim (Nadine), Jon (Melissa), Mike (Hope), Rebecca (Adam), Jenn (Billy) and Will (Morgan); and her sister Martha (Ralph). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.

In memory of Esther, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre), and would be appreciated.
