It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Mae Rea in St. Catharines, Ontario, born in Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don Rea; her mother Evelyn Murray Upham; her stepbrothers, George, Glen and Ross; and her grandparents, George and Clara Murray (Weatherbee).
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Josie), Michael and Lianne (Dan); her grandchildren, Adam, Devon, Caitlyn, Brandon, Mackenzie and Chelsea (John); her great grandchildren, Owen, Matthew, Brandy and Woods; her pet Penny; and her stepbrother Larry.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Catharines Hospital Cancer Program.
