He was predeceased by: his son Bradley; his parents, Antonio D'Elia and Antonietta D'Elia; and his brother Vince. He is survived by: his siblings, Lillian Farinacci (Angelo), Carm, Mario (Deanna) and Peter; his siblings' children, Nathan, Ashley, Alex and Lucas; and his aunt Vincenza.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1). A vigil service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In memory of Gino, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre), and would be appreciated.
