Gordon Douglas Burns Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025, at the age of 67, Gordon Douglas Burns (St. Catharines, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Burns and Isobel Burns; his brother-in-law Stefan Korus; Mary. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Burns; his children, Victoria Menzies (Alastair) and Ewan Burns (Vicky); his sisters, Mary Jones (Brian) and Moira Korus (Keith); his grandchildren, Finley, Alex, Rory, Rohan and Brodie; his stepdaughters, Karen Zsipsak (Sarah) and Laura Zsipsak; and his stepgranddaughter Ella. He is also survived by family, he leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Southridge Community Church (201 Glenridge Ave, St. Catharines, ON L2T3J6).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Linhaven Long-Term Care, 403 Ontario Street, St. Catharines, in honour of Gordon's life (via cheque at Linhaven directly or for credit card donations please call Brent Rusling, 905-980-6000 Ext # 3188).
